Water wastage is a growing concern in today’s world, especially in homes, industries, and farms. A common challenge people face is overflowing water tanks or running pumps dry, leading to unnecessary water loss and equipment damage. This is why the need for an automatic water level controller like Flosenso arises. It makes your water management smarter and convenient.
But how do you set it up? Don’t worry! Installing a Flosenso water level controller is easier than you think. I will take you through the process to make it all click effortlessly.
Understanding Flosenso
The Flosenso Automatic Water Level Controller uses smart sensors and advanced automation to efficiently manage water levels in tanks and reservoirs. Available in two variants – Flosenso Pro (wireless) and Flosenso (wired) – this innovative system is built on IoT technology to simplify water management and make the process entirely hands-free.
- Flosenso uses wired connections to link the sensors to the controller.
- Flosenso Pro operates wirelessly, connecting the sensors and controller without the need for physical wiring.
Here’s more about the Flosenso water management system and how it works to take the hassle out of water management.
Components
- Tank Sensor: These sensors are placed on the lid of the water tank, to sense the maximum and minimum thresholds.
- Connecting Wires: It connects the sensor to the controller.
- Controller: The control unit processes the information received from the sensor and controls the pump’s operation based on the water level in the tank.
- Flosenso Mobile App: The user interface of the entire system, that displays all the critical information on the dashboard, while also enabling remote operations. The Flosenso app is available on Google Play store or Apple App Store.
Working
App Setup
• Registration of Flosenso through the Flosenso app connects the app with the product.
• Set the minimum and maximum tank level through the app.
Water Level Detection
• Sensors placed on the lid of the water tank continuously monitor the water level.
• If the water in the tank reaches a “minimum level” of “maximum level”, the sensor, signals the control unit that the water tank is running low/high.
Pump Activation
• Upon receiving the signal, the control unit automatically turns on/off the water pump.
• The pump draws water from a source (such as a well, ground storage, or municipal water line) and starts filling the tank.
Automatic Cut-off
• When the water reaches the “maximum level” sensor in the tank, it sends a signal to the control unit to stop the pump.
• The pump is automatically deactivated, preventing the tank from overflowing.
Scheduling & Energy Efficiency
• Scheduling options to set specific time for the pump to operate.
• Improves energy efficiency by aligning with periods of lower electricity demand or water supply timings.
Did you know that households with automatic water controllers like Flosenso save up to 30% on water and electricity wastage?
Flosenso Advantage
Think of Flosenso like the thermostat for your water tank. Flosenso helps you automate the water storage system, so you don’t have to manually switch on or off the pump. It stops you from wasting water and extends the life of your pump. Flosenso works with all plastic tanks. The installation procedure for all types of plastic tanks is the same.
But to get all these benefits, you first need to know how to install it properly.
How to Install Flosenso?
The installation process for Flosenso is designed to be quick and easy. Whether you’re a homeowner tired of watching your water tank overflow or a farmer trying to ensure irrigation efficiency, Flosenso is simple to setup and start saving.
By following this simple guide, you’ll have your Flosenso system up and running in no time. Plus, you’ll enjoy peace of mind knowing that you’re conserving water and energy with every drop.
Step 1 - Get the Tools Ready
Before you get started, gather your essentials. In this case, think of it as setting up for a quick DIY project at home. You’ll need:
• Flosenso controller unit
• Flosenso ultrasonic sensor
• Connecting wires
• Screwdriver
• A drill
• A Wi-Fi connection
It’s a little like setting up your TV—mount the main unit, connect the wires, and you’re almost done.
Step 2 - Install the Water Level Sensor
Tank sensor is the set of eyes of your water tank. The sensor sits at the top of the tank lid to detect when the tank is full or empty. Here’s how to set it right.
1. Open the tank lid
2. Cut a hole of approximately 30 mm in the lid using a drilling machine or any cutting tool.
3. Mount the sensor securely in the hole, from the outer side of tank lid and hold it in place. Then use the sealing nut from the inner side of the lid to tighten the sensor and close the lid.
4. Connect the wire to the sensor
5. Connect the other end of the wire to the Flosenso controller.
Flosenso water level sensor installation doesn’t take long once you’ve marked where to place the sensors.
Step 3 - Install the Flosenso Controller
Now, select the socket where your pump is plugged. This spot should be the optimal location for ensuring the strongest Wi-Fi signal coverage.
6. If your pump runs directly through a switch or MCB, then you must change it to a socket where the Flosenso controller shall be plugged.
7. Plug the Flosenso controller into the electrical socket.
8. Insert the motor plug into the Flosenso controller.
The setup of Flosenso hardware is complete. The water level controller circuit inside the box will do all the magic once it’s all connected.
Step 4 - Setup the Flosenso App
You must now setup the device in the Flosenso app. You can set up the pump to run at specific times, like when water supply is available, or electricity demand is low. Also, the app will notify you if the water level falls too low, much like your phone reminds you when the battery is running low. The app will most importantly show the exact water level in the tank and help you with remote operations of the pump.
You can use the app to view Flosenso user manual or watch the Flosenso App Setup video on YouTube.
Step 5 - Power it On
Now comes the exciting part—powering it on! Watch the controller unit for signals and check whether the pump turns on and off as the water levels change right from your smartphone.
That brings us to the end of the installation process and now you have everything you need to get started with Flosenso. With sensor and a smart controller working in sync, you’re all set to enjoy a worry-free water management experience.
